WHERE IS SLOVENIA?
Slovenia is small country in Central Europe. We gained our independency in 1991 when we left former Yugoslavia. At that moment Slovenia was most developed republic of Yugoslavia, for better picture we take a look at average wages: in Slovenia we had three times better standard than most of the rest of other republics (Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Montenegro) and two times better than Croats. According to that our wages and net tax payments were very high. In former Yugoslavia there were 22 milions of citizens, Slovenians were only 2 milions and we were paying more than 20% of all tax. That says enough about our actual income. Does this sounds reasonable enough why we run away as fast as we could? Today Slovenia is modern western country neighbouring on the west to Italy, on north is Austria, on north-east is Hungary and on east and south is Croatia. You can find more facts about Slovenia at

ABOUT PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR!
This is kind a story! When I was young in our youthful games I prefered to be a policeman or some kind of law official. After primary school I was commited to go to police academy but there were some big changes in our family so I decided to finish school for car mechanic. After that was working in factory (plant) and finished evening school for mechanical technician. In that period I almost went to military school as that seems very good solution in that moment (thanks God I didn't do it). Somewhere around my 23th birthday I decided to leave factory job and went to university for better education. At first I started at technical faculty but in few months I found out that is not for me and in the next school year I was at Pedagogical faculty which I finished successfuly. Because of time of changes in our country (independence) there were many changes in life habits of our citizens, mostly because of heavy economical situation. Less children and as consequence less teaching jobs pushed me on labor market. Strive or survive was my phrase for that period? And the answer was one and only one: find something else! There was invitation on Internet from Private Investigation Chamber of the Republic of Slovenia for new memebers and schedule for examination so I decided to folow my dream from childhood and to become Private investigator or as we call this profession in Slovenia - detective. You can find moreinformations about private investigators and related laws at web site of Private Investigation Chamber of the Republic of Slovenia for which I am the webmaster.
WEB DESIGN AND RELATED SERVICES!
In the beginning there was idea! That is how I see how God created our world! We determine general look, all graphic elements in one big picture. First we draw it at the sheet of paper and after that we transfer it to graphic program. There are many evolutional steps from first scratches to final form. It takes anywhere from few hours to few days.
Now, when graphic layout is determined, there is another step which is very important. - structure of the page. In this development step graphic elements could be renewed, change their position. We set up menu and sub-site structure. This step is named in some cases as navigation planning (or user friendly layout and structure planning). It is time consuming process and it generally takes from two to ten days - it depends on complexity of site. We plan and build up templates, database structure, administration and dynamic tools.
When we start to build site there is no place for additional general changes. We finish graphic outlook, make slice cuts from graphic and put them in table structure. Now, this is the moment when we can adjust partial graphics - to fine tune them for smooth and look.
Most important part of site development is content. We can help to write texts and design graphic charts. Most important is that the owner of the site establishes direct and interactive communication with visitors to fine tune content according to interests of visitors and according to market demands (if we are working at business site).
At the end we integrate dynamic and maintaining solutions (database, query and content management system).
Web sites range from easy ones to content rich complex interactive sites. For big projects we need anywhere from 10 days to few months. And we do like our job.
WEB HOSTING!
Electronic property!
To be on Internet means two possible things:
- You have access to it by one of connection solutions (phone line, cable xDSL, satelite, LAN etc.). We can say that Internet is a highway and access to it is comparable to drive-in spots.
- Sites (or pages) has to be permanently "parked" at Internet servers in order to be at any time reachable by prospecting visitors. That is "property" in electronic form or eProperty.
There are free hosting solutions which are free only in appearance but in their "backyards" they steal your traffic and drive it to their sites or they put (or even force) their ads or ads of others at your site.
Only reasonable solution for domain name owners (like it is mine www.persak.com) is to find a reliable hosting server as that means he/she has full access and control over content and appearance of site. He/she puts content to his/her virtual server and controls it 100%!
For personal use it's enough 10 Mb of disk space with 1 to 10 e-mail accounts, CGI or other scripting language access and database support. How much should this cost? From 30 $ for one year ...
DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION!
What is basically a domain name?
It's like exact address - it doesn't matter where in the world do you live, this name differs your site from millions or even billions of other sites. It is your unique name.
In my case it is part of my business (company) name and also my last (family) name: PERSAK! I'm the only person in the world with such a domain name and no one else can take it out of me (even with exactly the same business and family name). Even in case of trademark this anme is safe as my business name and family name are kind of "trademark".
